The short version. Create an account, build and manage your QR codes, and upgrade only when you need more. You own your content; we keep the platform running and secure. The details are below.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
These terms are an agreement between you and QRCodable covering the QRCodable website, platform and mobile app (the "service"), on both the free plan and paid plans. By creating an account you accept these terms. If you use the service for a company, you confirm that you may accept these terms for that company.
2. Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password and two-factor device safe. You are responsible for activity under your account, including team members you invite.
- Invite team members through the Teams page rather than sharing one login.
- You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, and at least 16.
3. Fair and acceptable use
Use the service lawfully and honestly. Do not use it for phishing, malware, spyware, spam, deceptive redirects, unlawful or infringing content, or to track people covertly where that is prohibited. Do not probe or overload our infrastructure beyond normal use, and do not resell the service without a written agreement. We may suspend codes or accounts that break these rules — where practical, we will contact you first and give you the chance to fix the problem.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the QR codes, designs, pages, files and other content you create. You give us the limited permission we need to host, process and display that content so the service works — for example, serving your landing page to someone who scans your code. When you publish forms or collect scans, you are responsible for doing so lawfully in your market; the platform gives you privacy-conscious defaults (visitor IP addresses are stored only as one-way hashes). If content clearly infringes the rights of others, we may remove it and tell you why.
5. QR codes and scanning
Test every code before printing or distributing it — scanning conditions vary between phones. Dynamic QR codes depend on an active account: if your account is closed or suspended, dynamic codes stop redirecting, while static codes keep working because their content is stored in the code itself. You are responsible for the destinations and content your codes point to.
6. Plans, billing and refunds
- A free plan is available with the limits shown on our pricing page; paid plans add features and higher limits.
- New accounts start with a free 14-day trial of the paid features. No card is needed to start it. When the trial ends, your account continues on the free plan unless you choose to upgrade.
- Paid plans renew automatically for the billing period you chose until you cancel. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from Plan and billing; after cancelling, paid features remain available until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider. For purchases made through Paddle, Paddle acts as the merchant of record. Card details are entered on the provider's secure checkout and never touch our servers.
- If a charge is not what you expected, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will make it right, including a refund where the payment provider allows.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the service fast and available, and we announce planned maintenance where possible. The service is provided "as is": we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, so always keep your own copies of important files and test codes before a print run.
8. Suspension and ending your account
You can close your account at any time from the Account page (confirmed with your password). Closing your account permanently deletes your codes, analytics, leads and pages. We may suspend or terminate accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, that we are legally required to stop, or that put other customers or the platform at risk. Where practical we will give you notice and a reasonable chance to export your data first.
9. Intellectual property
The platform, its software, design and the QRCodable name and logo belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you the right to use the service — not to copy, resell or rebrand the platform itself. We welcome your feedback, and you agree we may use it to improve the product.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: the service is provided without warranties beyond those stated here; we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data; and our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be published on this page with a new date, and if a change is significant we will highlight it in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you disagree, you can stop using the service and close your account.
12. Disputes and contact
If a dispute arises, please contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly that way. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Reach us any time through the contact page on this website. We usually reply within one business day.
